The new administrating under Mr Barry Hearn is very strong and strict (Rightly) but for the wrong reasons. Professional Snookers purpose now is to create and guarantee an additional branch of the Gambling Industry that cannot loose.

Gamblers and the Gambling Industry are very honest and competitive or they would not survive the rivalry specifically as it is a no-loss business at stake.

The Fear of loss to the “Bookie” in snooker is Match Fixing and the reason why Sir Rodney Walker and previous Boards had difficulty in persuading “Bookie” sponsors Especially as there were on-going police enquires on match fixing going back many years still unresolved.
