Steve as President and Shop Steward of the disbanded SPA is more the Quisiling type and should be banned from playing goal-keeper with Barry Hearn. Dear John Higgins and Steve Davis

How are you my selfish pair! The brilliant idea of creating a Trade Union (SPA) for pro Snooker players was a wonderful and thoughtful idea.

Why have you sold the concept to the WPBSA bosses without first seeking a vote from members?

Were you intimidated by Nigel Mawer of the Integrity Unite or had a “Jam Tomorrow” promise for your long time snooker future?

Did the new authority awarded to Barry by the Scottish police to punish “Wrong Doers” without trial also apply to the police force in England?

The disbanding of a Trade Union without open discussion with members is wrong and worthy of a full public enquiry by both the police and other Trade Unions.

The lucky player or figurehead appointed Presedent to the Snooker Players Trade Union (WSPTU) will have control of Pro snooker worldwide.
