How are you chaps! The purpose of Pro’ snooker is to entertain not to strive for the highest breaks or score more points.

This is the exact reason why the Pro’ game is in real trouble and needs a real vamp and reappraisal to find its true place as “Television Entertainment”.

The few dozen people that make a great living from TV and the board members naturally sound the praises of the game but know the present Pro’ game does not boost TV audiences.

Snooker as a fun game will never die but without the TV cash the Pro’ game will disappear just like billiards and other minority games gleaned occasionally on TV.
