Dear HRS
How are you sir! In reply to one of my tweets you suggested;
the fact that balls cannot “Roll” has no bearing on the game of snooker or any
other game.
My short reply that I had “copyright status” was measured by
the160 characters restrictions set by twitter. I feel now that a detailed
answer is due.
Starting with Snooker! The fact that balls cannot “Roll” and
cannot be made to “Roll” would change the primitive method of coaching the
game.
Student should be told that balls in motion performs like
cubes without corners and will always skid but the cue ball will spin also if addressed
off centre.
The cue ball is moved by the “Thrust Force” of the cue tip
and may appear to always roll but really can only roll the length of its own circumference before become
stationar
The fact that this copyright anomaly has never been recorded
in school books is a fault that should be resolved by the educational authorities
as it applies to some other sports and “Ball” games worldwide. Daniel

Corruption is so rife in
snooker Mr MRS that I wonder if your twitter reply was ordered or premeditated
but I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Snooker is now a well sponsored
sport by the gambling industry but only with heavy penalties against “Wrong
Doers”.
