Dear Clive
How are you old chap! I find it sad that the BBC also beleives like you and Terry that your mentor Joe Davis was a fraud.
The Hacking was quite successful but doesn't extend to floppy disks.

By the way Clivy ! What's the S S date of the "Fool from Goole" article and the finals with Dennis on the copyright "Acceleration" boast?

            Hello Clive,
How are you, I hope this note finds you in good spirits and over your accident. Old timers like you Clive take a wee while longer to get over a knock. I hope as well that Terry and family have sent you a get well card.
Dennis, no doubt will have sent a nice card Clive, though you won’t be expecting cards from Ray, big Willie or the skilful six.

Terry has so much to thank you for Clive, I am sure Terry sent a big Thank you card when informed of his gong. My opinion Clive is you deserved a gong equally as much as Terry, the balance of choice must have been touch and go. Better luck next time to you Clive; I am sure you are appreciated by some one, if not the Queens ’s advisers on gongs.
As the voice of snooker Clive should you not be a little more open to your readers? Anything concerning snooker is news; a change in snooker or coaching should be worthy of comment, even though the Basic Skills team collectively disagreed.
Snooker the Fine Art book and video was offered to you in good faith Clive; surely the unconditional offer was entitled to a: Thanks but no thanks, or rubbish, thanks but no thanks. The Fine Art did not suggest replacing your Basic Skills video, merely offered an alternative method to give player/readers a choice.
You were wrong Clive to create a culture of silence over the Fine Art method. Players worldwide were entitled to be aware that snooker balls don’t roll; they skid and spin, but cannot be made to roll. Players have for over one hundred years; been trying to make the balls “roll nicely”. The science of physics in snooker will change coaching. A ball does roll Clive, but only on the length of its circumference; when the pace of the thrust force is exhausted.
The Fine Art book and DVD will be offered on the internet as an alternative to the Joe Davis method of coaching snooker. Joe was first and Mr Original, no person has ever challenged or refuted the Joe Davis method; every coach teaches either the Joe Davis method or the Joe Davis copycat method.
World Snooker is offering a £1,000 coaching course, also a £1,200 course, I wonder Clive what they are not telling the bargain hunters. (The screw back?)
Terry also has a variety of courses; a £30 hourly, a £117.50 hourly, a weekly course and a summer course at £ 275 for a whole week. Terry will have to be careful that the bargain hunters don’t get any of his or the Joe Davis extra special snooker secretes
Snooker should be played as an Art, not sold at bargain prices.
The Fine Art is a completely manufactured way of coaching snooker. Whether learner or accomplished player, whether to coach and teach snooker or play the game for fun.
Fine Art snooker is 10% ability and 90% detailed technique.
A natural at snooker has forgotten the player he copied from.
I am enclosing a few articles on the Fine Art method, principle to remind you Clive that they are copyright just like: “Spear through the ball”, “drive through” and “go through”
I am still searching for “acceleration” Clive
I may not owe an apology. All the best on your recovery Clive. Take care.

Joe  Davis was not a fraud Clive! His many books on snooker coaching were the man's life long work and worthy of Copyright status. Monopolising and selling off Joe's work was wrong
