Dear Elaine
How are you lass! The computer is the DNA of copyright and never forgets. Thanks for forwarding my many notes. DM.
Snooker The Fine Art Method
Dear Elaine,
How are you, I hope this finds you well and stress free, now that you are Mrs Eyers. Your purpose in life, no doubt will have new direction (I hope) away from the perpetual discord and infighting you have witnessed and arbitrated over from the pre Rex Williams days.
Rex wanted to buy property and act like a responsible businessman, but Clive didn't entirely agree with this extravagant suggestion, even though property prices doubled in value every four years.
Snooker Scenes claim that the WPBSA does not have a benevolent fund is quickly refuted each time Clive goes to court. World Snooker should know that court cases should be fought on not loosing as opposed to always being right.
Mr Ian Doyle when asked to arbitrate on the "Fine Art" was kind enough to reply each time by letter that it was out with his domain as two of his clients; Mr Terry Griffiths and Mr Steven Hendry were involved. Mr Doyle was very kind and advised me to find a distributor for the many videos I’d sent for his perusal.
Clive’s claim to be the thirty five year old voice of snooker is wrong! Clive became the chief voice of snooker only after he bought out Pot Black and the others. Pot Black was the undisputed voice of snooker, until Clive monopolised all snooker opinion.
Clive now decides what World Snooker and the players should and should not know about the game. Clive also seems to have an unhealthy hold on who is and should be a snooker commenter whether BBC, SKY or Eurovision. The Fine Art copyright could make Clive almost voiceless in Snooker Scene.
The mechanics of the balls and the awareness of snooker physics, will dominate all coaching. Balls always skid from a stationary position, and also spin if struck off centre. World Snooker should hold the monopoly and the copyright of the Fine Art method. People that wish to coach using the Fine Art technique would pay an annual fee.
Players that wish to write or discuss Fine Art technique on or off TV would ask the copyright owner’s permission.
May the balls run kindly, sincerely
Snooker The Fine Art Method
Dear Elaine,
Concerning the Fax I sent you on 21/9 I should have reminded you and presumable the World Snooker board that Clive is more determined than you are to suppress the Fine Art way of playing and coaching snooker.
Terry and Clive as you probable know are as one in there snooker coaching enterprises. Until World Snooker entered the coaching business for revenue; the Fine Art was the only problem to Clive and Terry monopolising the coaching business worldwide. Terry begged for the Fine Art copyright, but was repeatedly refused.
If the WPBSA had found another long term, ever generous sponsor like tobacco, Terry and Clive could have possible declared there method of coaching copyright. The WPBSA was so busy spending tobacco money to ask who gave permission to set up an independent coaching school. The Joe Davis original coaching method of 19-36 is an enigma. Neither Joe Davis nor any of his family has claimed copyright to Joes work.
World Snooker could offer two different ways to play and coach snooker. The well established way introduced by the great Joe Davis eighty years ago and an alternative new method showing in detail the science of physics in snooker.
The Fine Art is open to any person to adopt, without favour or bias; snooker has waited a lifetime for a coaching method with detail and parameters that are easy to harness and copy; lady players will be attracted to the Fine Art manufactured way of learning, as opposed to the “watch me” and I’ll show you again method that is boring and a very time consuming way to learn.
World Snooker is a joke of a name, until a country has a copyright. Scotland , Wales , Ireland , the USA or China could be the future name of © Copyright World Snooker. The Fine Art copyright owners will be inundated worldwide with applications to coach snooker.
The Fine Art method has the only coaching video/DVD showing one-to-one coaching plus one-to-one teaching. The annual income from Fine Art coaches worldwide will exceed the generous tobacco sponsorships, plus the sale of Fine Art coaching DVD.
Clive and Terry will fight any copyright or paying for: “I’ve always known that but just forgot”. No person should be barred from coaching (copycat) snooker, but the game would stand still for another seventy years without the “mechanics of the balls” and the awareness of the “science of physics” in coaching snooker.
The Fine Art programme if rejected is to concentrate on selling a few hundred home-made DVD on the internet to present a new coaching method. Fine Art coaching should not need advertising, seeing the Fine Art DVD will attract coaches from many other ball games.
Congratulations again Elaine on embracing the sanctity of marriage.
To whom it may concern: May the balls run kindly. Sincerely.
