Individual warnings on infringing copyright should not be necessary to warn off copy cats but a simple reminder from Clive Everton the “Publisher” in Snooker Scene would have been adhered to without question. It should not have taken a worldwide scandal of BBC employees to solve the problem of “Snooker Copyright” and inferring that Mr Joe Davis was a fraud by claiming copyright status for his “Coaching Method”. (Joe Davis was not a fraud)

Dear Ms Lynch
How are you! As yet I have not received one note from you and wondering if you have adopted the Clive Everton motto of “Ignore it and it will go away”.

The BBC is getting some bad press and has promised to do better? The Savile name is seldom mentioned now and general incompetence and the elimination of secrecy is now the BBC’s main problems to overcome.

I sincerely hope that the problems set by Clive Everton over the Joe Davis copyright can also be broached and overcome.
Clive’s position as the BBC snooker consultant and advisor should be questioned before resignations are sought.

Individual warnings on infringing copyright should not be necessary to warn off copy cats but a simple reminder from Clive Everton the “Publisher” in Snooker Scene would have been adhered to without question.

Clive Everton’s position as the “Voice of Snooker” publisher and BBC consultant with deep silence gave credibility to others; on ignoring the Joe Davis copyright.

It’s possible that the strong gambling lobby will win over “Law and Order” and mere copyright infringement as at least a billion pounds will probable change hands over this tournament alone. Daniel Marner@mrheyyoutwitterfacebookandyahoo.

PS It’s possible Ms Lynch that the BBC already has the snooker administration in place that you and the Cooperation would search for? DM
